NOTICE OF DATE TO SUBMIT ARGUMENTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL QUALIFIED VOTERS of the 麻豆传媒集团 that a SPECIAL ELECTION will be held on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2024, consolidated with the GENERAL ELECTION in order to submit to the voters the following measure:

To improve the quality of education; make health, safety and security improvements; construct, modernize, and renovate classrooms, restrooms and school facilities; upgrade outdated electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and sewer infrastructure; and replace leaky roofs; shall 麻豆传媒集团's measure authorizing $458,205,000 of bonds be adopted at legal rates, generating on average $30,300,000 annually while bonds are outstanding, at approximately $40.69 per $100,000 assessed value, with annual audits, independent oversight, NO money for salaries, and all money staying local?

Pursuant to Elections Code Section 9502, the last day arguments for and against the measure must be filed with the REGISTRAR-RECORDER/COUNTY CLERK, 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk, 2nd Floor, Room 2013, no later than 5:00 p. m., Friday, August 16, 2024.

Argument and Rebuttal Forms are available at the REGISTRAR- RECORDER/COUNTY CLERK OFFICE and on the website at or by calling (562) 462-2317. No argument shall exceed 300 words in length and arguments shall not include more than five authors. Each author shall sign a statement that states the argument is true and correct to the best of his/her/their knowledge and belief. One argument in support of and one argument in opposition to the measure will be selected. The public examination period for review of the materials for the measure will be available from August 10, 2024, to August 19, 2024.
